At Bufalus we source only the purest of ingredients to ensure a high quality product. Our skin care products are hand crafted in small batches usually taking around 52 hours to complete. Passion, care and altruism go into every jar.
Our recommended use on our product is as follows. Step 1, shower after a long day right before bed. Step 2, cream up some product in your hand and apply it to your face. Rub it in. Step 3, wake up with some of the smoothest skin you could remember having with a bit of a glow to compliment it.

Each jar is packed with vitamins A, B1, E, D and K a perfect supplementation for anything your skin is missing. Be at ease knowing we are a noncomedogenic product meaning your pores will not be clogged, instead the product is absorbed through the skin resulting in powerful results.
Why Bufalus? Unlike other tallow based products that use random bits and pieces of animal fat, in some cases even table scraps. We strictly use bison suet. Suet has higher concentrations of bio available triglycerides, vitamins and nutrients compared to normal fat. Bison tend to be a healthier animal than normal beef cattle. Our source raises bison on over 1000 acres of grassland and supplements them with trace minerals. No hormone or antibiotics are ever used on the herd making this product one of the, if not purest products on the market.

Our process: We start with raw bison suet from Bison Bluff Farms. Hand trim each piece of impurities and as much connective tissue as possible. After, we render for thirty hours at a low simmer. When the time is up and all looks good the liquid is strained through stainless steel mesh into molds and left to fully harden. Each mold in then reheated separately with various ingredients to make the scent, some ingredients are hand ground in house to ensure the best infusion to achieve maximum holistic benefit as well as desired scent. Each mold is then refilled with the mixture of ingredients and left to fully harden. When hardening is done, each mold needs to be trimmed of the added ingredients that separate to the bottom, the organic material is cut and all the molds get heated at a low simmer for another five hours to guarantee consistency of the batch/scent. All the liquid is then put in a mixer where it cools and softly hardens at consistent speed for around two hours. Once its fully cooled and a nice texture we then hand pack each jar, add the labels and fulfill orders for our customers to enjoy. All scraps and waste of this process are fed to our chickens that help feed our family and others.
